Community outreach& support
Summitville Baptist is always looking for ways to serve the community, and we are always looking for new individuals interested in serving with us. Our current service opportunities include:
- Monthly worship service at Summitville Convalescent Center.
Come join us as we worship through song and scripture with the residents of the convalescent center. Its always the third Sunday of the month!
- Bi-weekly Bible study at the Summitville Convalescent Center.
Join us and help lead studies as we go through the Bible with small groups of individuals at the convalescent center.
- Hope Center
The Hope Center is an important part of our community. It provides food, snacks for children, a safe place to hang out and play, and so much more. All of these service require the help of dedicated volunteers. We are so very thankful for the community members and our church members who support this ministry. - 4th of July Family Fun Fair 2016
Family Fun-Fair! On July 4th, the church put together our first family fun fair for the community. It was a great time filled with fun games and prizes for small children, free ice cream, and free sparklers! Over 200 members of the local community showed up to participate in this event. A great time was had by all who helped and those that participated!
- Fall Cookout, October 9th 2016
Fall cookout 2016! On October 9th, the church got together for our annual fall cookout. This year we were joined by members of the congregation and community as we roasted hot dogs, ate great food, and enjoyed a fire while the kids played games. It was a great time and we hope to see you there next year!
